Robert received Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Utah State University where he designed and built rockets and satellites. He was awarded the prestigious NDSEG Fellowship from the U.S. Department of Defense to pursue a Doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. His research included the development of software to simulate complex dynamic fluid systems using the world’s first teraflop supercomputer. He authored articles for prominent international scientific journals.
